摘要: In this work, we report on a solution for providing support to the blind using mobile museum guides by exploiting haptic channel as complement audio/vocal one. The overall goal is improve autonomy and social integration of visitors. We followed an iterative approach in which proposed system went through various user evaluations further refinements. final includes vibrotactile feedback enhancement orientation obstacle avoidance obtained use unobtrusive actuators applied two user's fingers combined with electronic compass detector sensors connected wirelessly guide. Our study indicates that particularly useful provide frequent indications dynamic information, such level proximity or distance from right orientation.
