Flow‐injection chemiluminescence and electrogenerated chemiluminescence determination of escitalopram oxalate in tablet form

摘要: Rapid, simple and highly sensitive flow-injection (FI) chemiluminescence (CL) electrogenerated (ECL) methods were developed for the determinationof escitalopram oxalate (ESC), a selective serotonin reup- take inhibitor used as an antidepressant drug. The CL method was based on reaction of ESC with acidic cerium(IV) tris (2,2'-bipyridyl)ruthenium(II) (Ru bipy ðÞ 2þ 3 ). Various experimental parameters affecting intensity carefully studied opti- mised. enabled determination 0.001-50mg/mL in bulk form correlation coefficient r=0.9999. limit detection (LOD) 0.01ng/mL (S/N=3). ECL Ru drug medium, permitting range 0.00001-70mg/mL r=0.9999 LOD 1x10 -4 ng/mL. proposed applied tothe commercial tablets. results compared statistically those obtained from published using t- F-tests.
