摘要: Abstract. Quetecsaurus rusconii gen. et sp. nov. is a new titanosaur (Dinosauria, Sauropoda) from the Neuquen Basin of Mendoza Province, Argentina. The specimen comes red mudstones Cerro Lisandro Formation (middle-late Turonian, Upper Cretaceous), and first sauropod with well-preserved remains to be discovered in this formation. holotype includes postorbital, teeth, atlas, posterior cervical vertebra, an incomplete dorsal caudal centrum, ribs, coracoid, fragments humerus, radius ulna, five metacarpals. It characterized by following combination autapomorphies: (1) intercentrum atlas prominent anteroventral border expanded posteroventral processes; (2) neural spines incipient lateral expansions; (3) humerus strongly sigmoid proximal border, rounded proximomedial angular proximolateral corner.
