摘要: Abstract Background A healthy lifestyle may reduce the risk of non–muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) recurrence. The objective this study was to obtain insight in whether NMIBC patients are aware possible factors for (bladder) cancer, adhere recommendations prevention, received advice from their physician, and what attitudes towards physicians giving advice. Methods Patients with newly diagnosed between 2014 2017 participating UroLife cohort completed questionnaires at 6 weeks 3 months after diagnosis about awareness factors, adherence recommendations, reception advice, Results total 969 were included (response rate 46%). Most (89%) that smoking is a factor knowledge other varied 29% (low fruit vegetable consumption) 67% (overweight). Adherence prevention 34% (body weight) 85% (smoking). Of smokers, 70% reported they advised quit, 36% quit three before or diagnosis. Only 21% all indicated More than 80% had positive attitude receiving physician. Conclusions These findings show among low physicians’ information provision should be improved.
