The mean annual whole reduction 0.69% schizophrenia, 0.49% controls (p = 0.003, adjusted gender, educational level, alcohol use weight gain). patients found especially temporal lobe periventricular area. Symptom functioning decline cognition associated amount (dose equivalent 100 mg daily chlorpromazine) loss 0.003 In this sample, continues after onset illness, medications may contribute these reductions.
