摘要: Abstract Agroforestry Concessions are an innovative legal provision of the Forest Law Peru. Granted to farmers at agricultural frontier and conditioned on compliance with maintenance tree cover adoption agroforestry soil water conservation practices, have potential a win-win option meet country pledges 20 × 20 Restoration Initiative. The case study, conducted in one oldest deforestation Amazon, shows that pathway for this mechanism succeed starts from recognition local practices including fallow-based systems understanding shift farmers’ livelihoods might require.
