摘要: Abstract Neutron scattering elastic scans are a common technique to obtain an overview of the microscopic dynamics over wide range control parameter, in most cases temperature. The data evaluation usually aims at calculating mean-square displacement 〈 r 2 〉 scatterers. Unless there is clear separation fast and slow dynamics, this has be treated as time-dependent quantity ( t ) . In paper definition timescale res scan from energy resolution instrument proposed. A assumption that Q -dependence decays like Debye–Waller factor. Here, it shown can only expected under certain conditions. general will non-linearity plots ln I el vs.  because not constant close , = 0 ≠ 1 due multiple scattering. Finally, procedure suggested calculate taking these facts into account.
