摘要: This is a review of the application atom-surface scattering theory to determination surface phonon spectra throughout Brillouin zone. It focuses on interpretation time-of-flight (TOF) experiments using He beams and discussion He-surface interaction. Earlier reviews covering some same subjects include those by Goodman [6.1], Wachman [6.2], Engel Rieder [6.3], Celli [6.4], Barker Auerbach [6.5], Bortolani Levi [6.6], as well book edited Benedek Valbusa [6.7]. A fuller given in Chap. 5.
