摘要: Signal transduction plays a key role in regulating important functions both multicellular and unicellular organisms largely controls the manner which cells respond to stimuli. pathways coordinate different type of animals control growth differentiation organisms. Intracellular signal are activated by second messenger molecules. Trypanosoma cruzi has complex life cycle involving four morphogenetic stages with various systems able regulate its differentiation. often alters status phosphorylation target proteins thus activities these proteins. In this review, two major pathways, cyclic AMP-dependent pathway mitogen-activated protein kinase pathway, discussed. Protein phosphatases also discussed due their importance dephosphorylating terminating transduction. Understanding unique pathogen may lead development novel therapeutic agents.
