摘要: Summary This paper is the first updated review of scope, depth and problems related to current radiocarbon chronology late prehistory southern Iberia. The aim twofold. First, it critically analyses quantity quality dates used interpret diverse trajectories western Mediterranean societies throughout more than four millennia. Secondly, reviews a set three different prominent archaeological phenomena from an inter-regional comparative perspective: primary secondary burial practices, domestic stone architecture ditched enclosures. Our long-term, geographically wide-ranging approach locates similarities while highlighting effects local historical conditions in certain divergent circumstances.
