摘要: Summary Simultaneous tracking of the vertical laryngeal position in various phonatory tasks was performed for 2 subjects (one male, one female) using dual-channel electroglottography (EGG) and videofluorography (videofluoroscopy). The included phonation on [a:] with voluntary repeated (1) heightening (2) lowering position; alternation between (3) [b], (4) [m], (5) voiced bilabial fricative [β:]; (6) production corner vowels [a, i, u]. EGG agreed about direction changes most cases. Most disagreements were found amount changes. Reasons discrepancies, including, example, resting larynx anteroposterior movements cartilages, are discussed. It can be concluded that is a valuable clinical pedagogical tool analysis displacement well-specified tasks. method should act reliably separately phonated vowels. Its applicability studying biomechanics more wholistically, however, limited.
