摘要: Abstract Studies of γ-irradiation to dose levels 2MG g two epoxy resin systems have been undertaken. Using both thermally stimulated current measurements and d.c. measurements, changes in the polymer structure conduction processes were identified. The process cases found be ionic as shown by linear current-voltage characteristics. This behaviour occured over a temperature range approximately 120°C. From this data activation energies 0.9 2.16eV obtained for systems. In addition ion jump distances order 10 −8 m, derived from deviation Ohmic under high field conditions. case one at appreciably lower applied fields was attributed homo-charge injection electrodes. other showed some space charge effects discharge spectrum. γ-Irradiation caused system lowering T with an increase conductivity which affected post irradiation annealing. causes production chain scission during irradiation. exhibited decrease conductivity, these being radiation-induced crosslinking.
