摘要: Gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs), as currently defined, are mesenchymal of the gastrointestinal tract composed spindled and/or epithelioid cells that neither mature Schwann nor smooth muscle cells. Many studies have lumped GISTs from all gut sites, when in fact these differ histologically by location. In this study, we evaluated a set parameters both univariate and multivariate analysis to determine which correlated with metastases 36 jejunum ileum, exclusively. The included organoid architecture, cellularity, mitotic counts, cell shape, mucosal invasion, tumor size, skeinoid fibers, nuclear pleomorphism, ischemic necrosis, immunohistochemical differentiation, proliferating antigen labeling. We retrospectively without knowledge metastatic outcome tumors. By analysis, dense size were statistically significant correlates metastases. only cellularity counts independent Whether features useful predictors behavior remains be tested.
