摘要: This study of 300 patients with severe head injury evaluated the clinical predictors determined after admission and associated significant increase poor outcome. The overall outcome was 58%. Logistic regression showed that age, status basal cisterns on initial CT, Glasgow Coma Scale score (GCS) at 24 h electrolyte derangement occurring during strongly correlated A probability diagram from combination predictive factors provides a basis for determining interventions to appropriate target population. Intracranial pressure monitors sophisticated devices may not be suitable developing country. Allocation resources toward development adequate intensive care beds well-trained staff combined serial CT imaging an alternative approach improvement injury.
