Small-scale fishing families and their daily multiple-stressor on climate change and COVID-19: Preliminary findings

摘要: The COVID-19 pandemic situation is still ongoing in many countries the world, including Indonesia. positive case continues to increase every day and impacts our life, fisheries' family. fishery a vulnerable sector climate change, this worsened by situation. This paper aims understand resources attached fishing families facing various pressures risks, forms of response, adaptation within families. During situation, we have carried out an online ethnographic approach online-focused group discussion (FGD) fisherman wives. Purworejo village was selected as research site because it one with largest number small-scale Java's northern coastal area. results show that risks faced families, not only related change such season, limited resources, capital, access, but also risk on their internal In context family resilience, each member has role dealing stressors, especially economic stressors. Fathers look for fish sea almost eight hours day; children go when conditions continue deteriorate; even fisherman's wife same responsibilities her husband.
