摘要: The severe plastic deformation (SPD) is an effective approach for producing bulk nanostructured materials. Equal Channel Angular Pressing (ECAP) the most efficient SPD solution achieving ultra-fined grained (UFG) material as billet undergoes and large deformation. process parameters of ECAP (Channel Angle, angle curvature, friction, number passes, etc) influences major impact on properties. In present work, performed by pressing a specimen through die consisting two intersecting channels meeting at φ outer corner ψ. Experiments with circular Al6061 were conducted to investigate changes in mechanical properties upto 2 passes. 3-D finite element simulations also using metal forming software FORGE study evolution strain during process. Simulation results investigated comparing them experimental measured data terms load variations. work clearly shows that caused accentuated increase hardness tensile strength multi-pass processing. This beneficial developing high quality, products manufacturing industry account its ability change microstructure
