摘要: Total phosphorus and total nitrogen explained a low percentage of summer chlorophyll variability in epilimnia the Great Masurian Lakes. Division whole data set into two subgroups lakes improved approximation nutrient relationship but revealed also functional differences between distinguished that way. Chlorophyll eutrophic correlated well with phosphorus, mesotrophic (those <=22 mg m−3 as calculated model) was related to none nutrients. Higher content epilimnetic waters accompanied by higher chl:PP chl:PN ratios. Algal adaptation poor light conditions is postulated possible reason for difference.
