摘要: Aging of the population leads to increasing numbers patients requiring surgical interventions. Though highest incidence colorectal cancer occurs in age range between 60-70 years, group below 40 years has been also increasing. In this course disease and prognosis are different than over 60 age. The authors analysing data from study protocols 1332 operated for at our Department Surgery 1984-2000. results obtained 3 groups were compared: I--patients 70 (n = 332). No significant differences related stage number asymptomatic observed groups. had more lesions multiple type, emergency procedures was lower. resective similarly as rates recurrent disease, either local or systemic. patterns five-year survival similar. Colorectal poor prognosis, however long-term survivals similar years. Due lack concomitant diseases with is worst.
