摘要: The two literatures on targeting and intrahousehold inequality have developed rapidly over the past 15 years, but largely independent of each other. literature concerns itself with design tax transfer programs for poverty alleviation in presence limited information who poor are. arose out a dissatisfaction with"unitary"models household, especially explaining consumption achievements different household members, even after allowing relevant differences among them. authors begin to forge link between literatures, so they can address issues policymakers face around world. After brief reprise key features indicate how allocation mechanisms could affect standard analysis theory. They conclude list policy questions further research.
