摘要: Organelle movement and interaction are dynamic processes. Interpreting the functional role mechanistic detail of interactions at membrane contact sites requires careful quantification parameters such as duration, frequency, proximity, surface area contact, identification molecular components. We provide an overview current methods used to quantify organelle in plants other organisms propose novel applications existing technologies tackle this emerging topic plant cell biology.
