摘要: Crosswell seismic diffraction tomography is a new waveform inversion algorithm and has great potential for producing higher resolution images than conventional traveltime tomography. The objective of this paper to identify the inherent relationship between Kirchhoff migration. Both them can be considered as multi-dimentional inverse scattering problems. However, it found that crosswell inverts low-wavenumber components velocity potential, while migration high-wavenumber components. To achieve highest image resolution, both high wavenumbers should recovered; means wave-equation integrated in order obtain full-wavenumber spectrum images.
