摘要: Abstract In this research a mixture of barium ferrite and graphite powders was milled in planetary ball mill then heat treated vacuum to produce BaFe12O19/Fe3O4 Fe/Fe3O4 magnetic nano-composites. The effects milling time treatment temperature on the characteristics powder were investigated by X-ray diffraction analysis, vibrating sample magnetometer, transmission electron microscopy Mossbauer spectroscopy. Phase analysis results showed that Fe2O3 partially reduced Fe3O4 during milling; hence, phase remaining formed nano-composite after 20 h milling. Heat 40 h samples at 750–900 °C resulted formation Fe containing nano-composite. Magnetic measurements indicated coercivity 267.92 Oe for decreased 22.57 Oe 900 °C, while its saturation magnetization increased from 31.56 169.43 emu/g due nano-crystallites.
