THE EFFECTS OF EQUINE-ASSISTED THERAPY IN IMPROVING THE PSYCHO-SOCIAL FUNCTIONING OF CHILDREN WITH AUTISM

Терапија со помош на коњи беше спроведу- вана еднаш неделата, должина од десет недели. Резултатите ги покажаа позитивните ефекти терапијата кои се појавија кај вкупно четирите испитувани деца, мерена листа за проверка мерење третманот аутизам. Беа забележани подо- брувања доменот говорот, социјализа- цијата, чувствително-когнитивната свест здравственото однесување. Авторите препо- рачуваат поширока употреба овој те- рапевтски модалитет психолошко-едука- тивниот третман децата спектар. The goal of the present study was to examine effects short-term equine-assisted therapy as a complementary modality for children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). There were four in study, two boys and girls from ages years, ASD included this study. All attending special education school Sarajevo, Bosnia Herzegovina. equine- assisted sessions took place once week period weeks. results revealed positive had measured by Autism Treatment Evaluation Checklists (ATEC). improvement reported domains speech, socialization, sensory/ cognitive awareness health/behavior. authors propose more widely use therapeutic psychoeducational treatment ASD.
