摘要: Full-coverage maps on the distribution of marine biotopes are a necessary basis for Nature Conservation and Marine Spatial Planning. Yet biotope do not exist in many regions. We generating first full-coverage map German Baltic Sea according to HELCOM Underwater habitat classification system (HUB). Species modelling is applied create spatial information biological features. The results biomass twelve target taxa presence/absence three enabled identification levels up HUB level 6. Environmental data bathymetry, light penetration depth substrate used identify levels. were combined with map. Altogether, 68 identified Sea. new combining characteristics communities will facilitate management area.
