ESR study of singlet oxygen generation and its behavior during the photo-oxidation of P3HT in solution

摘要: Abstract Generation of 1 O 2 from poly-(3-hexylthiophene) (P3HT) irradiated in the presence chlorobenzene was investigated using ESR measurement, employing 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine (TEMP) as a spin trap. found to be formed with ˉ being produced parallel at branching ratio 99:1. Additionally, reaction P3HT an endoperoxide source CCl 4 by MALDI–TOF MS measurement. The upper limit rate constant for estimated kinetics simulation. These findings raise understanding photo-oxidative degradation P3HT.
