摘要: The molecular pathway leading to pituitary tumorigenesis is still largely unknown and one of the challenges endocrine oncology. development adenomas in HMGA2 transgenic mice finding amplification overexpression human led us investigate mechanism by which gene plays a crucial role oncogenesis. This has been recently described our group: it entails acetylation E2F1, its consequent enhanced activity, following displacement HDAC1 from pRB/E2F1 inhibitory complex. Based on mating between E2F1 knockout mice, activation appears be main onset HMGA2-induced adenoma development. Nevertheless, other events may also involved this process, are discussed here.
