摘要: A study was made of the effect protein quality on gestation and digestive metabolic utilization in Wistar rats. The level diet 14%, sources used were: casein, beans a mix wheat, order to complement essential amino-acids deficient both sources. Gestation increased food intake 3 groups experiments, which distinct were used. Protein did not affect two physiological situations under (gestation non-gestation). In pregnant animals, greatest weight gains obtained with casein diet, while non-pregnant ones increases greater wheat. smallest recorded those rats fed beans. Gestation protein-absorption. superior diet. The nitrogen retention showed: 1. animals retained more than all diets study. 2. took place little difference between bean bean-wheat diets, although latter it slightly superior.
