摘要: Adenomyomatosis of the gallbladder is an entity that being recognized increasingly, chiefly by radiologists. The pathogenesis, pathology, and indications for surgery are not well understood. This report a study 27 patients seen in last 6 years, all whom had proved histologic features. Patients ranged from 21 to 72 years age, with preponderance women. Thirteen no gallstones. disease was confined fundus 15 patients, neck one patient, generalized 11 patients. Bile cultures were obtained six consecutive negative. Histologically there evidence thickening wall, glandular elements mucosa, invagination glands into muscularis. clinical, radiological, pathologic features supported hyperplastic degenerative disorder which should be distinguished cholecystitis. Associated these morphologic changes dyskinesia similar diverticular colon. Follow-up studies after cholecystectomy have shown over 90 percent completely relieved symptoms. identified as distinct entity, probably nature. Cholecystectomy indicated beneficial when symptoms suggest biliary tract diseases.
