摘要: Summary. 1 Broods of nestling Robins were weighed at Avoch, Ross-shire, in 1946 and 1947. 2 The average weight eggs near hatching was 2–41 grams new-born chicks 1 ′72 grams. 3 Nestlings increased steadily to 17-8 day 10, with small increases or decreases thereafter till fledging days 12–15. 4 Irregularities lateness reaching normal are considered be due bad weather affecting food supply North Scotland 1947. 5 Late-season broods fledged higher per than early broods. 6 Broods four five young had the highest nestling. 7 A few observations made behaviour parents regard incubation, nest routes, food, attempted removal rings.
