摘要: This paper presents a short survey on video segmentation. Due to the growth in multimedia information, an effective indexing and retrieval is necessary. can be achieved when segmentation tools algorithms are available. MPEG-compressed videos mostly used by researchers for Shot boundary detection, color histogram characteristics, DC-images, motion vector compensation, threshold-based detector, etc.
