摘要: Twenty-eight research dogs were enrolled to determine the prevalence of salmonellae shedding after consumption 1 Salmonella-contaminated commercial raw food diet meal. Sixteen exposed diets and 12 Salmonella-free diets. Seven shed 1–7 days None fed salmonellae. No clinical signs observed in either group. Five 7 same serotypes as those recovered from samples used for feeding. Results showed antimicrobial resistance pattern 2 shedders. Dogs can may, therefore, be a source environmental contamination potentially leading human or animal illness.
