摘要: OBJECTIVE. The objective of our study was to determine the misdiagnosis rate radiologists for coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and evaluate performance chest CT in diagnosis management COVID-19. features COVID-19 are reported compared with other viruses familiarize possible patterns. MATERIALS AND METHODS. This included first 51 patients a infection confirmed by nucleic acid testing (23 women 28 men; age range, 26-83 years) two adenovirus (one woman one man; ages, 58 66 years). We reviewed clinical information, images, corresponding image reports these 53 patients. images from 99 examinations, including initial follow-up studies. laboratory test results identified patterns suggestive viral infection. RESULTS. misdiagnosed as common at inpatients underlying Viral pneumonia correctly diagnosed remaining 49 adenovirus. These were isolated obtained treatment. Ground-glass opacities (GGOs) consolidation or without vascular enlargement, interlobular septal thickening, air bronchogram sign "reversed halo" pulmonary nodules halo uncommon features. findings overlap There differences well similarities those severe acute respiratory syndrome. CONCLUSION. found that had low missed (3.9%, 2/51) may be useful standard method rapid optimize However, is still limited identifying specific distinguishing between viruses.
