摘要: Abstract The variation of the joining performance glass-ceramic sealants in form a paste as function solid powder content sealing after formation and number thermal cycles are experimentally studied. Three different pastes having 40, 50 60 wt % loadings prepared tested for this purpose. applied between two metallic interconnector plates subjected to glass step joining. fracture strengths 24 samples each case determined via tensile tests. Similarly, mechanical performances 3, 6 9 also obtained. results reveal that strength tends increase with amount paste. This can be attributed increased crystalline phases increasing loading. cycles, on other hand, shown have an adverse effect regardless However, rate decrease is found contents pastes. elucidated by glassy sealants, which expected loading provide self-healing ability. microstructures surfaces all investigated scanning electron microscopy. obtained images confirm test results.
