摘要: TUMORS having their origin in the trachea are rare. This article is a study of such tumors as they occur infant and adult. INCIDENCE Our compilation (including our cases) revealed total 546 cases primary tracheal both infants adults (Table 1). Of this number, 509 (92.1%) occurred adults. In previous presentation, 1949, 1 we dealt with occurrence children. We were able to find but 39 reported literature up that time. To these added 2 own, making 41. Since then, more have been reported, 43 children (7.9%). PATHOLOGY A striking difference exists types appear adults, 503 tumors, 247 (49.1%) malignant
