摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter focuses on the threat to productivity of world agriculture imposed by evolution herbicide-resistant weed populations. Implicit in this is that herbicides should and will continue be a major tool for control. It believed modern are cost-effective, efficient, environmentally benign means obtaining Proponents rightly identify benefits achieving control as well positive environmental influences substituting soil cultivation management. Reliance expected because there no attractive superior technology available. However, sustainable management achieved, changes current herbicide use patterns required. Multiple-resistant populations weeds, such L. rigidum A . myosuroides, indicators potential worst-case problems future. Resistance increase if present not altered.
