摘要: A multiple scattering formulation of two-dimensional (2D) acoustic metamaterials is presented. This approach comprehensive and can lead to frequency-dependent effective parameters (scalar bulk modulus tensorial mass density), as it possible have not only positive or negative ellipsoidal refractive index, but also hyperbolic index. The correction due interactions included in the theory demonstrated that its contribution important for lattices with high filling fractions. Since surface fields on scatterers are mainly responsible anomalous behavior resulting medium, complex be used engineer frequency response. Anisotropic effects discussed within this some numerical examples reported. homogenization extended electromagnetic wave propagation 2D dielectric structures, where Mie resonances found metamaterial behavior.
