摘要: Retransmission-based error recovery is the simplest technique to minimize overall packet loss ratio in order increase quality of applications. Multimedia applications are becoming increasingly popular IP networks, while mobile environment limited bandwidth and higher rate arise spite its popularity. Retransmission can be also used for media applications, but number retransmissions by playout buffer recent network delay. In this paper we present a source controlled adaptive multiple retransmission scheme multimedia streaming. Due controlling receiver do not need send additional request messages. The other advantage transmitter decision algorithm that necessary RTT information available at due DCCP transport protocol. Therefore no measurements probe messages needed. With knowledge actual delay delay, able determine attempts without late delivery packets.
