摘要: In 1890 Themistokles Gluck, a German surgeon, was the first who implanted an endoprosthesis made from ivory into human joint. Unfortunately, this event also beginning of history periprosthetic infections because Gluck selected knee joint destroyed by infection tuberculosis.
