摘要: Efficient sorbents based on widely available clay minerals are of particular value in the field pollution control. The research shows mineral-based formed through organic modification two kaolinites differing structural order. Their structure and texture was characterized by XRD, FTIR, DTA/TG, CHN, XPS N2 adsorption/desorption methods. obtained materials were tested as adsorbents Cd(II), Zn(II), Pb(II) Cu(II) equilibrium kinetic experiments. Moreover, sorption mechanisms subjected to investigation. synthesis procedure involved interlayer grafting with diethanolamine (DEA) triethanolamine (TEA). organo-kaolinites showed resistance hydrolysis temperature up ∼300 °C. adsorption improvement observed for modified materials, DEA derivatives poorly ordered kaolinite. analyses elements local environment coupled binding strength tests enabled confirm immobilization mechanisms. pure removed metal ions either ion-exchange or surface complexation, exclusively external surfaces. In turn, grafted additionally immobilized space which expanded. attracted TEA, N O-donors readily form complexes metals, particularly Cu(II).
