摘要: Previous studies using isozymes have established that the moss Plagiomnium curvatulum is an allopolyploid species originated from hybridization and chromosome doubling of elatum ellipticum. It has so far remained unknown which donor chloroplasts mitochondria to P. curvatulum. Studies organellar inheritance in bryophytes suggest uniparental transmission was involved. Comparison ofnucleotide sequence data three chloroplast mitochondrial DNA markers its parental reveal sequences ellipticum are identical differ homologous elatum. Seven samples five different populations all gave same result. Both were inherited The nucleotide substitution rate calculated for 4.57 times higher than mitochondria. Moreover, rates considerably between intron when their haploids genera compared.
