摘要: Research effort to develop new multilevel inverters (MLIs) for the photovoltaic (PV) system is emergent. The conventional MLI consists of a large number switches and diodes. Due this, power losses increase overall efficiency decreases. In this work, two novel structures (DS1 DS2) are introduced. DS1 DS2 interfaced with PV through single-switch single-inductor single-input multiple-output dc-dc converter. output capacitances converter self-balanced without employing any closed-loop control. Both consist an equal components generating seven-level output. However, does not possess reactive handling ability unlike DS2. compared state-of-art MLIs in terms switches, diodes, ability. After analyzing structural functioning both MLIs, selective harmonic elimination (SHE) modulation technique discussed that further used control MLI. structure simulated experimentally verified considering similar rating system.
