摘要: Abstract Background Instrumented treadmills offer a number of advantages for the biomechanical analysis elderly gait, yet it is unclear how closely treadmill gait approximates overground gait. Although studies have indicated that kinematics and kinetics are very similar in young adults, still needs to be determined whether data collected adults during walking can generalized The purpose this study, therefore, was compare three-dimensional group healthy subjects. Methods Three-dimensional kinematic kinetic 18 healthy, nondisabled subjects, age 65–81 years, were speed-matched conditions. Findings Overall, had patterns. However, subjects showed greater cadence, smaller stride length time as well reductions majority joint angles, moments powers when compared walking. Interpretation large increase cadence suggests an effective method acclimation determined. Because differences, we believe order instrumented become suitable tool research training purposes elderly, must adequately acclimated treadmill.
