摘要: Flowering time is tightly controlled by several regulatory pathways including photoperiod, vernalization in which epigenetic processes are involved. In this work, we have found that the Arabidopsis histone deacetylase gene HDA9 involved flowering control. Mutation of led to an early phenotype short day grown plants while without effect long days. Analysis expression revealed hda9 mutations highly induced AGL19, but had no on CO, SOC1 or FLC. Chromatin immunoprecipitation assays indicated a clear increase H3K9 and H3K27 acetylation AGL19 promotes way independent CO FLC has been shown be repressed polycomb group repressive complex2 (PRC2) EMF2 activated vernalization. The levels were comparable under conditions, indicating regulated also length repression promoting H3 deacetylation, may related PRC2 complex.
