摘要: Abstract. As part of the terrestrial branch Japan-funded Arctic Climate Change Research Project (GRENE-TEA), which aims to clarify role and function in climate system assess influence its changes on a global scale, this model intercomparison project (GTMIP) is designed (1) enhance communication understanding between modelling field scientists (2) uncertainty variations stemming from variability implementation/design outputs using climatic historical conditions regions. This paper provides an overview all GTMIP activity, experiment protocol Stage 1, site simulations driven by statistically fitted data created GRENE-TEA observations for last 3 decades. The target metrics evaluation cover key processes both physics biogeochemistry, including energy budgets, snow, permafrost, phenology, carbon budgets. Exemplary results distributions four (annual mean latent heat flux, annual maximum snow depth, gross primary production, net ecosystem production) seasonal transitions are provided give outlook planned analysis that will delineate inter-dependence among provide clues improving performance.
