摘要: A quantitative method for measuring the wettability of porous media containing brine and crude oil has been developed by USBM using capillary pressure curves determined with a centrifuge. These measurements were reproducible within standard deviation 8.2 percent. The determination fractional compared involving combination imbibition displacement. Results are in agreement qualitatively as to whether sample was water-wet or oil-wet. When tested outcrop cores Torpedo Sandstone, wetting tendencies oils from widely different fields range highly almost neutral. Silicone-treated vary extent predictable manner, becoming more oil-wet concentration silicone used core preparation is increased. Wettability, parameter designing linear mathematical models predicting recovery efficiency, equal significance viscosity permeability.
