Diets and Feeding Rates of Juvenile Pink, Chum, and Sockeye Salmon in Hecate Strait, British Columbia

摘要: Abstract Juvenile pink salmon Oncorhynchus gorbuscha, chum O. keta, and sockeye nerka were sampled in Hecate Strait, British Columbia, during July August of 1986 1987. I described their seasonal species-specific patterns feeding, tested assumptions predictions models relating feeding success juvenile first summer at sea to survival recruitment. The three species consumed a wide variety taxa, but few taxa made up most the daily food intake.
