摘要: Tourism has become the primary industry of Low Country South Carolina. In response, economic, social, and cultural fabric area changed to accommodate this industry. Using interviews observations, study examined issues concerning host-guest interactions from a political ecological perspective. Overall, especially for local African American residents, tourism created in effect "culture servitude." Proposals help alleviate these negative impacts are suggested.
