摘要: Electrospun fibers and fibrous mats have drawn tremendous interest in both academic industrial circles, for application a variety of fields ranging from air water filtration to biomedical energy applications. Efforts develop improve upon these materials led deeper understanding fiber formation new ways manipulate the structure morphology nanofibers produced by electrospinning process. As result, electrospun polymer now constitute platform technology production, manipulation, one-dimensional nanomaterials forms that extend well beyond simple, uniform, homogeneous cylindrical element. This chapter summarizes work nanostructured fibers, such as beaded, porous, wrinkled, hollow, or microphase-separated with an emphasis on mechanisms formation.
