摘要: Direct formic acid fuel cells offer an alternative power source for portable devices. They are currently limited by unsustainable anode catalyst activity, due to accumulation of reaction intermediate surface poisons. Advanced electrocatalysts sought exclusively promote the direct dehydrogenation pathway. Combination and structure bimetallic catalysts have been found enhance pathway either electronic or steric mechanism that promotes adsorption in CH-down orientation. Catalyst supports shown favorably impact activity through enhanced dispersion, electronic, atomic effects.
