摘要: Abstract Supported vanadia catalysts are commercially used to remove the oxides of nitrogen contained in oxygen-containing flue gases by selective catalytic reduction (SCR) using ammonia as reductant. This paper examines possibility same for complete oxidation chlorinated hydrocarbons (ethyl chloride or chlorobenzene) presence NO and ammonia. It is shown that supported on an alumina-modified zirconia capable giving 100% conversion molecules while also over a relatively wide range temperature (593–683 K). material shows resistance poisoning HCl but it slowly poisoned SO2 if present. The addition tungsten oxide formulation has no significant effect behaviour towards ethyl improves SO2.
